BERLIN, GERMANY:

Tanzania has continued to attract global attention at the ITB Berlin 2026 International Tourism Trade Fair, with its national pavilion drawing significant interest from international travel professionals, tourism investors, and visitors from around the world.

The world-renowned travel trade exhibition is taking place in Berlin, Germany from March 7 to March 11, 2026, bringing together thousands of tourism stakeholders, including tour operators, airlines, hospitality brands, travel agencies, and tourism boards from across the globe.

According to information from the Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB), Tanzania’s participation at the event has generated strong interest among global visitors who are eager to experience the country’s unique natural attractions, wildlife safaris, and cultural heritage.

The Tanzanian delegation includes more than 70 tour companies and over 160 tourism representatives, all working together to promote the country as one of Africa’s leading safari and nature tourism destinations.

Visitors to the Tanzania pavilion have shown particular fascination with the country’s iconic destinations such as Serengeti National Park, famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, as well as other world-class attractions including Mount Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and the pristine beaches of Zanzibar.

Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, is recognized globally for its vast savannah landscapes, extraordinary biodiversity, and the spectacular annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras. The park is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracting thousands of international visitors each year.

Tanzania’s participation in ITB Berlin is part of the country’s broader strategy to expand its global tourism reach, strengthen partnerships with international travel markets, and position the country as a premier destination for wildlife safaris, adventure travel, cultural tourism, and luxury experiences.

Tourism continues to be one of Tanzania’s key economic sectors, supporting conservation, creating employment opportunities, and contributing significantly to national development.
