The Governor of Khomas Region in Namibia, Sam Nujoma Jr., has expressed admiration for Tanzania’s rich cultural heritage and historical legacy following a special visit to the National Museum and House of Culture on May 26, 2026.
The visit formed part of efforts to strengthen cultural appreciation and deepen regional ties through heritage tourism and historical learning between African nations.
During the tour, Governor Sam Nujoma Jr. was accompanied by Edward Mpogolo, Nurdin Bilal Ali, and Dar es Salaam City Director Elihuruma Mabelya. The delegation was officially received by the Acting Director General of the National Museum, Ms. Adelaide Salema.

During the visit, the Namibian delegation toured several exhibition galleries showcasing Tanzania’s history, traditional cultures, archaeological discoveries, liberation struggle archives, and national heritage collections.
