Soar from Safari to the Sea
Tanzania’s aviation and tourism sectors are set for a major boost as Miracle Air prepares to introduce a new Dash 8 aircraft in the second half of 2026. This addition will support scheduled flights between the Serengeti and Zanzibar, offering travelers a faster and seamless connection between the northern safari parks and the coastal island.

Passengers will be able to fly directly from Seronera to Zanzibar, while other Serengeti airstrips, including Kogatende, Sasakwa, Fort Ikoma, Grumeti, and Lobo, will connect via Seronera. Direct flights from Arusha to Zanzibar will also be available, improving travel options for tourists moving between safari destinations and the coast.

Travelers from smaller Serengeti airstrips will connect through Seronera before boarding the Dash 8. Luggage allowance is 25kg per passenger, including hand luggage, and fares apply to both adults and children from 2 years old. Other routes will continue to operate via Arusha under standard STO rates.

Launched in January 2025, Miracle Air was inspired by the success of Miracle Experience, one of Tanzania’s leading tourism companies. The airline was created to transform how travelers explore Tanzania from the skies, offering curated aviation experiences that complement its tourism roots.

The Dash 8 will be the first of its type in the fleet, expanding Miracle Air’s existing two Cessna Grand Caravans, which currently serve a variety of destinations through scheduled flights, private charters, and scenic aerial tours across Tanzania’s iconic locations.
