Dar es Salaam : In a remarkable example of diplomatic tourism and cultural exchange, Tanzania recently hosted a high-level delegation of officers from Egypt’s prestigious National Defense College (Egypt War College) during an educational and diplomatic visit to the National Museum of Tanzania.
The visit, which took place on April 23, 2026, reflects the growing cooperation between Tanzania and Egypt in the areas of military education, diplomacy, and cultural heritage appreciation.

The Egyptian delegation was led by Major General Mohamed Yehia Zakaria Hassan and accompanied by Brigadier General Islam Sayed Bakry El-Sayed.
