In a strategic move aimed at fortifying destination marketing and revitalizing tourism in the enchanting realm of Kilimanjaro and spices, Destination Zanzibar is making a prominent comeback at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2017. This resurgence is made possible through a strategic alliance forged with key stakeholders including the Zanzibar Commission for Tourism (ZCT), Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators (ZATO), Zanzibar Association of Tourism Investors (ZATI), and Tanzania Tourism Board, all united under the banner "Tanzania – the land of Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar & the Serengeti".
The collective goal of this alliance is to cultivate a robust campaign that amplifies the destination's voice and fosters a shared vision. Through collaborative efforts, this partnership will provide a platform for networking and synergistic collaborations, while spotlighting Tanzania as an evolving market ripe with opportunities across both leisure and business travel sectors. Central to their mission is the promotion of world-class travel experiences, spanning from exhilarating safari wildlife encounters to immersive cultural adventures, tranquil beach retreats, and beyond, encompassing all that remains unexplored.
Among the distinguished participants joining forces with Tanzania Tourism Board and Zanzibar Commission for Tourism at this year’s Arabian Travel Market are esteemed entities such as Asanja Africa, Azao Resort, Bluebay Hotels Zanzibar, Bobby Tours Tanzania Safaris, Exotic Zanzibar, Golden Tulip Zanzibar Resort, Lifestyle Safaris & Holidays, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, The Aiyana Hotel, Zan Tours, and Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators.
This collaborative delegation aimed to engage in substantive discussions surrounding the evolving landscape of travel preferences, spanning from luxury and adventure to safari expeditions and family holidays.
Additionally, they actively promoted MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) offerings, inviting operators to connect with representatives, operators, and hoteliers, thus positioning Zanzibar as a multifaceted destination that transcends the conventional sun, sand, and sea narrative, to encompass an array of enriching safari products and experiences.
