Overview
Mikumi national park known as small Serengeti is located in Morogoro region. This is an open park home of lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, impalas and different species of birds without forgetting some community live near the park. ALUTE SAFARIS we take you to witness and explore the reality life of wildlife and the cultures of Tanzanian especially Maasai. With our in-depth knowledge of our country and many decades of travel planning experience, we can ensure that it will be.

Itinerary
DAY 01 DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK. (TRANSFER AND MAASAI BOMA). Early in the morning after meeting our representative guide, you will have a short safari briefing. We will then start our safari to Mikumi National Park, you will spend almost 5-6hrs on road to the park. If you haven’t had a breakfast we will stop along the way for breakfast or snacks. As we travel enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and fascinating stories about Tanzania with your guide. We will stop in Morogoro town for lunch before continuing our drive to Mikumi. Upon arrival we will go directly to Maasai boma expect to learn and experience Maasai people. Diner and overnight at Mikumi resort. DAY 02 FULL DAY GAME DRIVE TO MIKUMI NP. (GAME DRIVE AND BIRD WATCHING). Early in the morning after the breakfast in your camp you will meet with your drive guide again drive you straight into the park for a fully day game drive into the park, lunch at picnic site. DAY 03 MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK -- NYERERE NATIONAL PARK. (TRASFER AND BOAT SAFARI) Early in the morning after breakfast in your camp, meet with your guide again drive you to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous), with packed lunch box. Upon arrival you will go directly for boat safari in Rufiji River expect to see crocodiles and hippos, as well as different species of birds. Although one of these animals is a predator, you will observe that they do not harm each other. Dinner and overnight at Selous river view lodge. DAY 04.
