Itinerary
DAY 01 DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK. (TRANSFER AND VISIT MAASAI BOMA).

Early in the morning after meeting our representative guide, you will have a short safari briefing. We will then start our safari to Mikumi National Park, you will spend almost 5-6hrs on road to the park. If you haven’t had a breakfast we will stop along the way for breakfast or snacks. As we travel enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and fascinating stories about Tanzania with your guide. We will stop in Morogoro town for lunch before continuing our drive to Mikumi. Upon arrival we will go directly to Maasai boma expect to learn and experience Maasai people. Diner and overnight at Mikumi resort.
DAY 02 FULL DAY GAME DRIVE TO MIKUMI NP. (GAME DRIVE AND BIRD WATCHING).

Early in the morning after the breakfast in your camp you will meet with your drive guide again drive you straight into the park for a fully day game drive into the park, lunch at picnic site. During the game drive expect to see over 400 bird’s species that have been recorded in the park and many animals as the parks open land make wildlife viewing easy and exciting. After fully day game drive we drive you back to your camp for relaxation and enjoying the camp. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Resort.
DAY 03 MIKUMI NP TO UDZUNGWA MOUNTAIN NP. (HIKING UDZUNGWA MOUNTAIN).

Early in the morning after breakfast, meet with your guide already to drive you to Udzungwa Mountain National Park with packed lunch, approximately takes 2hours on road to the park. Immediately upon arrival check in and start hiking toward the Sanje waterfalls. You will have the chance to see some of endangered species like colobus monkey and different birds’ species, all while enjoying fascinating stories about the park shared by your guide. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Resort.
DAY 04 MIKUMI NP TO DAR ES SALAAM CITY. (TRANSFER TO DAR ES SALAAM).

Early in the morning after breakfast you check out to your camp and drive you back to Dar es salaam, where upon arrival you will be dropped off at your hotel, airport or the ferry boat station if travelling to Zanzibar.
