ZANZIBAR: President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has administered the Oath of Integrity to newly appointed public leaders, including Massana G. Mwishawa, the Commissioner of Conservation for the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA).
The ceremony took place on 27 July 2026 at the State House in Tunguu, Zanzibar, reaffirming the Government's commitment to ethical leadership, accountability, and excellence in public service.
As the newly sworn-in Commissioner of Conservation, Massana G. Mwishawa assumes a key leadership role in overseeing the management and protection of Tanzania's network of national parks, renowned globally for their exceptional wildlife, biodiversity, and natural heritage.
TANAPA plays a pivotal role in conserving some of Africa's most iconic destinations, including the Serengeti National Park, Kilimanjaro National Park, Ruaha National Park, and many other protected areas that attract millions of visitors and contribute significantly to Tanzania's tourism economy.
The oath ceremony underscores the Government's continued focus on strengthening institutions responsible for conservation, sustainable tourism, and the preservation of Tanzania's natural resources for future generations.
