Itinerary
DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM – NYERERE NATIONAL PARK (BOAT SAFARI & MAASAI BOMA VISIT).
DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM – NYERERE NATIONAL PARK (BOAT SAFARI & MAASAI BOMA VISIT).
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to Nyerere National Park, enjoying scenic views of rural landscapes and villages along the way. Upon arrival, you will visit a local Maasai Boma, where you will learn about Maasai culture, traditions, daily life, and traditional dances. After the visit, you will proceed to Selous River View Lodge for check-in and lunch overlooking the Rufiji River. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight at Selous River View Lodge.
DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN NYERERE NATIONAL PARK.
DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN NYERERE NATIONAL PARK.
After an early breakfast, you will depart with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive inside Nyerere National Park. The Park is famous for its vast wilderness and diverse wildlife. You may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and, with luck, African wild dogs. Your guide will provide detailed explanations about wildlife behavior and conservation. After a picnic lunch in the park, you will continue with afternoon game viewing before returning to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at Selous River View Lodge.
DAY 3: WALKING SAFARI – RETURN TO DAR ES SALAAM.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger, offering a close and exciting encounter with nature while learning about animal tracks, plants, and ecosystems. After the walking safari, you will return to the lodge for lunch, check out, and begin the drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the late afternoon.
