Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge, nestled on the foothills of Mount Meru. Set within a working coffee plantation, this elegant lodge offers the perfect setting to relax and recover from your journey while preparing for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park, located beneath the dramatic cliffs of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy lunch at Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Lake Manyara is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, rich birdlife, and stunning scenery. Wildlife sightings may include hippos, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, impalas, warthogs, and large troops of baboons. With a bit of luck, you may also spot the famous tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Olduvai Gorge – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, driving along the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. En route, visit Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites, where the discoveries of Louis and Mary Leakey shed light on early human history. You will also visit a nearby Maasai Boma for a cultural experience.
After a picnic lunch, continue into the vast Serengeti plains with a game drive along the way, as wildlife begins to appear across the open savannah.

Start the day with an early breakfast, then enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti with a picnic lunch.
The Serengeti is world-famous for the Great Migration and its exceptional predator population, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and jackals. The endless plains provide unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities throughout the day. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon, or earlier if you prefer to relax.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a visit to a Maasai Boma along the way. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive.
Formed over two million years ago, the crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, measuring approximately 610 meters deep and covering 260 km². It supports an extraordinary density of wildlife, including lions, elephants, black rhinos, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, hippos, gazelles, and a wide variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the crater to maximize wildlife viewing time.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Zanzibar

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha, arriving in time for lunch at a selected restaurant. Later, transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to La Gemma dell’Est, a beachfront resort overlooking the Indian Ocean. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or enjoying the ocean views.

Day 7: Zanzibar – Kizimkazi Village Tour

After breakfast, head south to Kizimkazi Village, a traditional fishing community. Visit the historic 12th-century mosque, the earliest known evidence of Islam in East Africa.
Kizimkazi is also known for its resident pods of bottlenose dolphins, and you will enjoy dolphin spotting in their natural habitat. Return to the resort for relaxation and leisure.
