Overview

Experience the best of Tanzania's world-famous Northern Safari Circuit on this five-day adventure. Discover breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and iconic national parks, including Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This safari offers excellent opportunities to witness the Big Five and enjoy unforgettable game drives in some of Africa's most spectacular wildlife destinations.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its giant baobab trees, seasonal Tarangire River, and one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.

Overnight: Lodge or tented camp near Tarangire.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, famous for their incredible wildlife and the annual Great Migration (seasonal).

Wildlife: Lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, zebras, and wildebeests.

Overnight: Lodge or tented camp in Central Serengeti.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit different wildlife habitats while tracking predators and large herds of herbivores. Your guide will help you locate the park's remarkable wildlife and explain the ecosystem.

Optional: Hot air balloon safari (available at an additional cost).

Overnight: Lodge or tented camp in Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy an early morning game drive before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at scenic viewpoints overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater and arrive at your lodge in the afternoon.

Relax and prepare for the crater tour the following day.

Overnight: Lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim or in Karatu.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and a variety of birdlife.

After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
