5-Day Safari Mikumi, Udzungwa and Nyerere National Park

You will be picked up at your place in Dar es Salaam and driven to Morogoro for an early buffet lunch at the restaurant near Morogoro town. After lunch, you will drive to Mikumi National Park in time for an exciting afternoon and evening game drive. Later in the evening, you will drive to Camp Bastian for your overnight stay.

After breakfast with your packed lunch boxes from the lodge, you will drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. You will enjoy hiking and waterfalls activities in Sanje with your guide to experience birds, monkeys, and many more. You'll then descend and drive back to Mikumi for dinner and your overnight stay at Camp Bastian.

After breakfast at the lodge, you'll start driving to Nyerere National Park. It takes 7 to 8 hours. You will have a picnic lunch on the way, and the journey will take about 7 hours through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania. You'll arrive for the afternoon and evening boat ride on the Rufiji River. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Nyerere Tented Camp.

After breakfast at the lodge with packed lunches, you'll enjoy game drives inside the park. Expect to see a large number of animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, etc. You will also see a large variety of birds and wonderful scenery with varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. You'll return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay at Nyerere Tented Camp.

You'll leave for an early morning walking safari in Selous Forest, then return for breakfast. You'll then prepare for your return to Dar es Salaam with your packed lunches.
