3-Day Zanzibar to Ngorongoro, Tarangire & Hadzabe Safari

Day by day

Day 1 – Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
Description: Begin your safari adventure with an early morning transfer from Zanzibar to the airport, followed by a short flight to Arusha. From there, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its majestic elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Explore seasonal swamps, grassy plains, and the Tarangire River in an open-roof vehicle, spotting giraffes, zebras, lions, and a myriad of birds. Conclude the day with a relaxing evening at your lodge.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater
Description: After breakfast, travel about 90 minutes to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. This 20 km-wide volcanic caldera hosts a remarkable variety of wildlife, including the rare black rhino, lions, zebras, and wildebeest. Spend the morning and afternoon on game drives, stopping for a scenic picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok overlooking Hippo Lake. Return to the lodge in the evening to unwind and reflect on the day’s encounters.

Day 3 – Lake Eyasi to Zanzibar
Description: Rise early for a journey to Lake Eyasi, accompanied by a packed breakfast. Meet the Hadza people, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in Africa, and experience their unique way of life, including hunting small game and gathering honey. Learn about their dwellings, traditions, and click-based language. After this immersive cultural experience, transfer to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar, marking the end of your 3-day adventure.
