Your safari begins with a 6:30 AM pick-up from your residence in Dar es Salaam. Travel towards Mikumi National Park via Chalinze, where you will stop for breakfast, and then continue through Morogoro Town.
Upon arrival at Mikumi, check into your park accommodation and take some time to relax. After lunch, embark on an afternoon/sunset game drive, exploring the park’s rich wildlife.
In Mikumi, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, impalas, warthogs, hippos, and over 300 bird species, along with diverse plant life. Overnight stay at park cottages.

Start your day with an early morning sunrise game drive from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, followed by breakfast and additional game drives in the park.
After lunch (within the park or Mikumi town), transfer to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Check into Twiga Hotel for your overnight stay, preparing for the next day’s trekking adventure.

Early morning, begin your trekking adventure via the Sanje route, exploring Udzungwa’s lush rainforest and waterfalls. You will witness the four-tiered Sanje Waterfalls, endemic plant species, and a chance to see 11 primate species, including the rare Sanje Mangabeys, found nowhere else in the world. Birdwatching, butterflies, reptiles, and amphibians add to the biodiversity experience.
After the trek, begin the journey back to Dar es Salaam, stopping in Mikumi/Morogoro Town for lunch. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at your residence or Julius Nyerere International Airport, marking the conclusion of your safari.
