This short yet powerful safari is designed for travelers with limited time who still want an authentic Big Five wildlife experience in Tanzania’s most iconic parks. Perfect as a pre- or post-Kilimanjaro trip, business extension, or first African safari.
You’ll explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant elephant herds and baobab landscapes, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called Africa’s Eden.

Morning pickup from Arusha Airport, your hotel, or your preferred Arusha location. Meet your professional safari guide and travel in a private 4x4 safari vehicle.
Arrive at Tarangire National Park, known for:
Large elephant families
Ancient baobab trees
Seasonal Tarangire River attracting wildlife year-round
Enjoy an extensive game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and rich birdlife. Picnic lunch inside the park.
Late afternoon drive to Eileein’s Trees Inn (or similar) for dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast, then drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive.
Highlights include:
High chance of spotting the black rhino
Lions, hippos, buffalo, elephants
Flamingos and water birds at the crater lake
After lunch, ascend the crater rim and return to Arusha, dropped off at the same location as Day 1.
