Overview
Two-day adventure combines epic wildlife viewing in Ngorongoro Crater, then immersive cultural experience among the Hadzabe, one of the last true hunter-gatherers community in Africa. Day one takes you into the world’s most famous volcanic caldera, teeming with Big 5 animals, and flamingos. Day two introduces you to the Hadzabe people of Lake Eyasi, where you’ll join them in hunting with bows and arrows, learn their language of clicks, and witness a lifestyle unchanged for thousands of years.

Depart early morning from Arusha and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After check-in at Ngorongoro, descend into the crater for a full-day game drive.
Spot black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffalos, hippos, and more in this natural wildlife sanctuary.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site inside the crater, then ascend and head to your lodge near Karatu Town.

Wake up before sunrise and visit the Hadzabe community inhabit in Lake Eyasi.
Join them on a real-time hunting trip using traditional bows and arrows, gather tubers, learn fire-making, and experience their way of life firsthand.
You’ll also visit the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths and traditional herders. Learn how they make tools from recycled metal and their role in the Eyasi ecosystem.
After the cultural tour, return to Arusha with a heart full of stories, history, and connection.
