Day by day

Day 1 – Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha and Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Description: After breakfast in Zanzibar, you’ll be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and start the journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, enjoy your first game drive with a picnic lunch box, spotting wildlife in a park famous for its enormous elephant herds, seasonal swamps, savannahs, and the winding Tarangire River. Lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest may all appear against the backdrop of ancient baobab trees. After the game drive, unwind at your lodge with dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Return to Arusha
Description: After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest uninterrupted volcanic caldera in the world, home to around 30,000 large mammals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, and the rare black rhino. Flamingos, eagles, and other birds add splashes of color to the crater’s lush landscape. After a packed lunch amidst the wildlife, you’ll return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
