Day 1: Kilimanjaro – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred to Arusha town. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or enjoy a short briefing about the safari ahead. Arusha, set beneath Mount Meru, serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful and diverse park known for its groundwater forest and soda lake. A game drive will introduce you to wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife, including flamingos. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions. After an afternoon of wildlife viewing, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight near the park.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you will travel from Lake Manyara toward the vast plains of the Serengeti, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you may encounter wildlife and enjoy breathtaking landscapes. Upon entering Serengeti National Park, an afternoon game drive will begin, offering opportunities to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of plains game. Dinner and overnight will be at your camp or lodge in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

This day is dedicated entirely to exploring Serengeti National Park. Early morning and afternoon game drives allow you to experience the park at its most active, with excellent chances of seeing predators on the hunt and herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles across the endless plains. A picnic or lodge lunch will be enjoyed during the day, followed by continued wildlife viewing before returning to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, you will begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This drive offers final wildlife sightings in the Serengeti before transitioning into the highlands of Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, you will settle into your lodge located near the crater rim, where you can enjoy panoramic views and prepare for the following day’s crater exploration.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day crater tour. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and the rare black rhino. A picnic lunch will be served on the crater floor before ascending back to the rim in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge in the Ngorongoro area.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha (Departure)

Following breakfast, you will drive back to Arusha, passing through the scenic highlands. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. This marks the end of your safari adventure.
