Day by day Itinerary
 

Day 1 – Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Description:
Fly from Zanzibar to the heart of the Serengeti, landing at Seronera Airstrip where your safari adventure begins. Explore the legendary “Endless Plains,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exceptional wildlife density. The Serengeti is home to the Big Five and vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles moving across open savannahs. As you traverse the plains, experience the raw sights and sounds of Africa’s wilderness before heading to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Serengeti National Park

Description:
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Central Serengeti, one of the richest wildlife regions in Africa. Beyond large mammals, discover granite kopjes sheltering rock hyraxes and colorful agama lizards. Birdlife is abundant, with species ranging from ostriches and secretary birds to soaring eagles. The day is spent tracking predators, observing grazing herds, and soaking in the vast beauty of the Serengeti before returning to your lodge in the evening.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater

Description:
After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600 meters into one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders. This wildlife-rich caldera supports around 30,000 animals year-round, including endangered black rhinos. Explore grasslands, swamps, and soda lakes while spotting elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, and a high concentration of predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and elusive leopards.

Day 4 – Tarangire National Park to Arusha

Description:
Travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and the largest elephant population in Tanzania. Enjoy a game drive through varied landscapes of riverbanks, woodlands, and open plains, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants interacting in family groups, as well as lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. After the safari, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
