2 Days / 1 Night Mikumi National Park

Day 1: Zanzibar - Mikumi National Park

our day begins early as you make your way to Zanzibar Airport’s domestic terminal for check-in at 06:00. You then board a light aircraft, departing at approximately 07:00, for a scenic one-hour flight to Mikumi National Park.

You will land at one of Mikumi’s bush airstrips around 08:00, where your safari guide will greet you and take you directly into the park for a full morning and early-afternoon game drive in an open 4×4 vehicle. Explore Mikumi’s diverse wildlife, with opportunities to spot elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, hippos, and a variety of plains game and bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp Bastian.

Day 2: Mikumi NP – Zanzibar:

Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive, followed by lunch. By mid-afternoon, around 14:30, you will begin heading back toward the airstrip, enjoying final wildlife sightings along the way.

Your return flight to Zanzibar typically departs at 15:30, arriving back on the island at approximately 16:30–17:00.
