BERLIN — Tanzania has made a strong impression at the world’s leading travel trade exhibition, ITB Berlin, with more than 70 tour companies and over 169 delegates representing the country.

The delegation, led by the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, is promoting Destination Tanzania to the global market.

With support from Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA), participants are highlighting the country’s rich tourism diversity — from Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, to vast and largely untouched wilderness areas across the country.

Officials say the strong and coordinated presence at ITB Berlin reflects Tanzania’s growing confidence and ambition to secure a larger share of the international tourism market.

The exhibition provides a strategic platform for networking, forming partnerships, and strengthening Tanzania’s brand visibility among global buyers, travel agencies, and tourism investors.

Industry stakeholders noted that participation in high-profile global forums like ITB Berlin plays a key role in reinforcing Tanzania’s reputation as a leading African tourism destination.
